I Really want to lose between 24-30 pounds, I started my diet today & it was horrible:( but I going to do better tomorrow, I’m now at 216 pounds & 5’6 or 5’7, I’m OBESE & I want to be at 180-190 before august 15, & then I’ll slow down the weight loss pace, I’m playing golf,tennis & soccer & I’m also trying to lose this weight for a wedding in September. & I was wondering can i lose 3-4 pounds a week since I’m obese & overweight ? I jog on the treadmill, elliptical & stair master machine 4-5 days a week & walk for 30 mins-1 hr on the weekend & when I’m working out my calorie intake will be 1500-1800 & when I’m NOT It’ll be 1200-1400………. && NOOO I’m not trying to be like 100-120 pounds like these crazy teenager girls out here, I just want to be at 160 pounds again (: thanks

if you stick to a strict diet and exercise plan that will push you to your limits, then you can probably lose about 10-15lbs per month. but that requires a serious lifestyle change.

    So here is advice…..and it sounds like you are doing a GREAT JOB! You work out and are doing a diet..:D
    But honestly if you really really want to lose weight RUN outside not on a tredmill. Run for about 20-30 minutes.. and yes you can take breaks. Put sunscreen on and a hat I lost 7 pounds in one week doing that.. If i can do it so can you! I’m 14 and i weigh 115… so its okay be who you are and reach your goals! And also chew on tons of gum<3333 u will lose weight in no time! (:
